Be Aware Of Stolen Dragon Boat Parts ...
The following e-mail was received by Dragon Boat Net.
In order to hopefully helping the Gold Coast Dragons in Australia we are publishing it in this forum to a wider audience. If anybody hears something about the missing equipment please contact the team directly.
All
The Gold Coast Dragon Boat Club has had its equipment trailer stolen sometime between Wednesday night and early Thursday morning (11 & 12 March). This trailer was kept in a padlocked compound at their training venue on Christine Avenue, Varsity Lakes.
In this trailer was:
4 x Champion DB heads
4 x Champion DB tails
4 x Champion DB chairs
4 x Champion DB drums
2 x Quickshade inc 4 sides
20 x life jackets
25 x training blades
??? x training blades privately owned
40 x race shirts (current)
40 x race shirts (old)
IDs tags
2 x Bodyblades
1 x Coffee machine
1 x BBQ & gas bottle
2 x medicine balls
2 x first aid kits
1 x toolbox
Lights (flouroscent & torches), power boards, power cords etc
1 x coffee urn
1 x portable CD player
25 x 750ml water bottles
Towing rachettes & ropes
1 x folding table
4 x sufboard covers (used to protect the heads & tails)
Regatta equipment - bouys, anchors
These boats were to be used at the 2009 Australian National Dragon Boat Racing Championships but now that they are 'naked', they can't be.
I am sending this email to you in the hope that should you see any dragon boat gear being sold around the place it will raise alarm bells - particularly the 4 sets of DB heads, tails, chairs and drums.
The Gold Coast Bulletin will be running a story tomorrow (Saturday) and a number of radio stations are assissting in spreading this to the Gold Coast public for us.
If you see any of these equipment in various forums, auction sites etc, please contact me ASAP so that I can alert the Qld Police.
Kind regards
Janine Lette

Dear Petterone,
I really tend to believe that you are a spammer. Dragon boats don't have motors.
To all the others giving useless comments, just to place your link building signature under your post, please be reminded that I'm about creating a black list of websites which are promoted by spam activities. People will then be encouraged to not visiting those sites and to not buying anything from there in order to fight spam.
So, you spammers, please continue helping me with my black list
