The Bangladesh Dragoners are the first and, as of January 2019, only Dragon Boat Team in Bangladesh.
Being the only team in a country means you need to attend to events in other countries if you want to race in a competition. - And so it comes that the team travelled in July 2017 to Langkawi/Malaysia for its first race. Since then they joined other events in China and Japan.The Bangladesh Dragoners’ aim is not only to grow their team, but also to make dragon boating more popular across their home country and to have more international contact.
