Just after Dragon Boat Net went online in 2006, Creative Dragon Works (CDW) was asked if it could assist the IDBF in producing marketing and promotion material represent Dragon Boating within the landscape of its third application to becoming a full member of GAISF (General Assembly of International Sport Federations). One thing requested was to produce a video and so CDW startet to work on it. The result was this video-film, simply named “Dragon Boating” being ready to publish in early 2007.
The video also is the first one, which was posted on Dragon Boat Net and marks the beginning of video-making for and about the Dragon Boat Sport by CDW. In the years to follow two more videos, “Dragon Boating – That’s Our Sport” and “Dragon Boating – Scenes of a Sport”, have been made on behalf of the IDBF.
