Training: West meets East – shows a training session in Germany in 2010. Lai Kam Fuk as a guest-coach from Hong Kong teaches western paddlers Hong Kong style paddling. Kam Fuk is a Chai Wan Fisherman and virtually born with a paddle in his hands. Back in 2010 he had 35 years of coaching experience.
His uncle made the three original dragon boats, which were shipped 1980 to the Chinese Festival on river Thames in London and from which the todays standardized racing boats were copied.
