On August 25th, 2018 the annual Dragon Boat Races organized by KEL Datteln took place again on the Dortmund-Ems-Canal in Germany. When I promissed them to come quite some time ago, I didn't realize the date-clash with the European-Champs in Brandenburg. As a result I left the Championships for one day and travelled 450 Km to Dortmund, just to return to Brandenburg again the next day. This was quite a hassle to me, but definitely worth doing.
