The Spanish Dragon boat Association is glad of inviting you to the Third Edition of the Intercontinental Dragon boat Festival of SPAIN and to the HEAT INTERNATIONAL SPAIN TRAINING CAMP.
The HEAT INTERNATIONAL SPAIN TRAINING CAMP will take place in Torrevieja (ALICANTE) from 6th to 12th October 2018.
The Spanish Dragon boat Association is glad of inviting you to the Third Edition of the Intercontinental Dragon boat Festival of SPAIN and to the HEAT INTERNATIONAL SPAIN TRAINING CAMP.
The HEAT INTERNATIONAL SPAIN TRAINING CAMP will take place in Torrevieja (ALICANTE) from 6th to 12th October 2018.
The III INTERCONTINENTAL DB FESTIVAL will take place in Torrevieja (Alicante) on 13-14 October 2018.
To the event are invited Dragonboat clubs of every nationality.
The competiton will take place in a straight race course making three lanes over the distance of 200 meters for DB12 categories and 350 meters for categories DB22.
Categories for the Festival (Clubs):
- DB 22 Category Open: 20 paddlers Dragonboat with steerer & drummer.
- DB 22 Category Mixed: 20 paddlers Dragonboat with steerer & drummer (minimum 8 women-paddlers).
- DB 12 Category Open: 10 paddlers Dragonboat with steerer & drummer.
- DB12 Category Mixed: 10 paddlers Dragonboat with steerer & drummer (minimum 4 women-paddlers).
- DB12 Category Female: 10 paddlers female with steerer & drummer.
- DB12 Category BCS: 10 paddlers BCS female with steerer & drummer.
After the Clubs Festival, The Intercontinental Festival will take place.
The Intercontinental Festival will be an event where paddlers from different nationalities will represent their continent (America, Europe, Middle-East, Asia), we have confirmation of teams from North America, Africa and Europe.
The paddlers from the teams participating in the Festival will join forces to set the best continent on Dragon boating.
